I get the complaint that this game has too much dlc, I really do. Hell, I think some of it should have been in the base game. But honestly with this and the music pack, I get it. Artists should be compensated for their hard work. Bought this to support the music and art (usually play volume down) and the new portraits are lovely. A few characters in vanilla looked a little samey, but not as bad as people make it out to be. The game was fun and still varied without it, and in this case it didnt seem yanked from the original to make the publisher money, but created afterwards to add depth and more realism for enthusiastic players.Like I said, I'm not championing paradox and their iffy dlc decisions. Some of the dlc feels like it was taken out and then resold (ruler creator, way of life, rome) and I hate that nonsense.Basically, this game is fantastic with or without this dlc, and as an artist I decided to pick this one up to support the unsung musical and graphical artists. Honest review in a review section full of whining.
